SERVPRO wants to make sure that the products you have really need to be discarded. When we go evaluate your contents for restoration we want to keep you safe. Electronics can be a serious hazard. It is important that you do not attempt to work these devices before they have been evaluated. Turning on such products after a water damage can cause further damage to the environment, and more importantly can be a medical hazard towards your and your family. SERVPRO begins by cleaning the surface of your devices to prevent corrosion and then these products are evaluated by an electronic technician. This lets us know if they are a danger and are qualified for being a restorable.
